Overview

ERT has been awarded the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Operations Maintenance and Sustainment (OMS) contract. The OMS contract has a total ceiling value of $699,600,000. Along with the overall award, ERT has been awarded the first four task orders, each with a 12-month period of performance and four 12-month option periods. The Government has indicated that the SMOMS Bridge and ESPDS contracts will transition onto OMS. We are currently seeking to identify incumbents from those contracts and other highly qualified candidates who are interested in joining our Team.

Description

The OMS contract is a single-award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract responsible for operating, maintaining, sustaining, and disposing of existing legacy satellite ground systems and for on-boarding new, next-generation satellite processing ground systems and capabilities. This IDIQ contract consolidates support for NOAA’s 24×7 legacy and current information technology (IT) satellite ground and product processing systems, which provide critical environmental observations and data to the National Weather Service, other U.S. government agencies, the private sector, and international partners. Under OMS, ERT, leading a team of subcontractors, will operate, maintain, and sustain existing legacy satellite ground systems until the next-generation ground systems and their associated observatory constellations fully transition to operations. ERT will then be responsible for disposing of the replaced systems.

ERT will also help to ensure NOAA’s legacy operations remain available and secure into the future by assisting NOAA in the transition of satellite product processing to a secure Government cloud environment. The cloud solution will meet OMS mission requirements by providing means to implement approved technology improvements, optimizations, and efficiencies while lowering the total cost of ownership.

ERT has teamed with several companies to provide services in support of the OMS contract. ERT's key teammates include L3 Harris, Tactibit, and Carr Astronautics. ERT will be working closely with our teammates throughout the life of the contract.
